Chapter 7

"Looks like this place is nothing but an old storage basement," Arthur said, slightly disappointed.

"I'm sure there are plenty of other places to look," said (Name). "Maybe the others have already found something, or someone."

Arthur nodded. "Let's head to the square and wait for them. I'm sure some of them are already waiting there." Arthur headed up the stairs with (Name) following behind him.  
Once they got back to the top, Arthur closed the door back and covered it back up and kept moving. Once they got there, they saw Vash, Lily, Francis, Matthew and Alfred already waiting for them at the square.

"Did any of you find anything?" Arthur asked. They shook their heads.

"Ivan and Yao is still out there looking though," said Francis. Just after that was said,
Ivan approached them with a young sleeping boy strewn over his back.

"I've found Raivis," said Ivan.

Arthur smiled satisfied. "Things are starting to look up. Now where is Yao?"

"I don't know, he went searching in another direction. He should be heading back though."

"Alright then, we'll wait here for him," said Arthur and everyone nodded in agreement.

With Yao

Yao's head was pounding as attempted to open his eyes. The air around him felt cold and dry. He attempted to stand up straight, using the wall for support. When he got up, he tried to walk even though his vision was still blurry. He only took a few steps when he felt something yank his ankles and made him fall back down. He looked to his ankles and discovered they were both chained to the wall.

"Gaisi de.. What happened?"

He traced his thoughts back to the last thing he could remember, seeing Kaoru lying helplessly on the ground and blacking out after that.

"Kaoru!" Yao looked around for him, but didn't see him at all, but it looked like the same room as before. They must've already taken him away.
He heard footsteps outside of the room, ones that were approaching the door. He heard a slight metallic click and the door was unlocked, in walking the captain of the Treasure Hunters.

Yao scowled. "You!"

The captain smirked, satisfied at seeing Yao so riled up. "Where is Kaoru? And what did you do with Honda!?" The captain walked closer to Yao, almost invading his personal space, making his scowl widen.

"Don't worry, you'll be joining them soon enough."

Yao growled and spat in his face. "Hundan!"

The captain snarled and backhanded him, making him fall to the ground hard with a red mark on his cheek. Yao's breath came out in short pants after this. The captain smirked in the cruelest satisfaction and left him behind in the room, locking the door behind him with a metallic click.

With Mindy

Mindy had long left the other island and found a port town farther away. She decided that was going to be her next destination.
Somewhere farther away from the port, she saw a boat docked on a shore.
"Pirates…" She was definitely going there now.
She docked her boat at the port and got out to look around, hoping (Name) would be here somewhere.

With (Name) and company

The boy that Ivan found, Raivis, hadn't yet woken up, andit had been almost an hour after the crew had decided to wait for Yao at the square, and he still hasn't shown up. They were all starting to worry for him.

"I think we should go look for you," (Name) blurted out of worry.

Arthur stood. "Yes, me too. Something's not right here."

"But where could he be?" asked Francis.

"He said he was going to search the northern part of the town," said Ivan.

"Then that's where we're headed," said Arthur.

"Um are you sure we should go? What if he comes back while we're gone?" said Matthew.

"Dude, he's been gone for longer than an hour," said America. "You can stay back while we go find him."

"Lily, you stay with him," Vash said.

"But big bruder.." Lily started to protest, but Vash shook his head.

"You'll be safer here. Stay with Matthew." Lily sighed and nodded.

Ivan took Raivis off of his lap and handed him over to Matthew and Lily. "Look after him." Matthew and Lily nodded in unison, then went off with everyone else to find Yao.
