Yogi massaged (Name)’s shoulders and back as she leaned against him from exhaustion, starting to relax under his touch as she let out deep breaths. Yogi kissed her head and hugged her close from behind. “Are you going to be alright, (Name)?” He asked worriedly as he rested his hands over her stomach.

“I’ll be fine if I can keep getting massages like this from you.” (Name) smiled up at him and kissed his cheek. “Really, I’ll be alright. There’s no need to worry so much.”

Yogi grumbled and buried his face into her shoulder. “You can’t tell me to not worry… Your due date is coming up soon and it’s our first child and I’m really really nervous and what if my patch comes off while I’m holding the baby and I- Oh my gosh what if the baby needs an allergy patch like me one day then I’ll have to help them avoid Akari and-”

Yogi stopped midsentence when (Name) turned to face him and placed a finger over his lips. “You’re the one who’s going to worry yourself to death at this rate.” She lowered her finger and kissed his cheek. “You’re going to be an amazing father, Yogi. To tell you the truth, I’m also nervous but I’m not going to let that stop me from becoming a parent with you.” She took Yogi’s hand in her own and laced their fingers together. “We can do this. Just trust me.”

Yogi started to relax from the gentle sensation of her hand. “You’re right… I shouldn’t worry so much. We’re doing this together so I don’t have to worry about anything bad happening right now.”

(Name) rested the back of her head on his shoulder. “That’s right. Just focus on getting the baby here when it’s time, okay?”

“I can definitely do that,” Yogi said with enthusiasm and took (Name) into his embrace. “It’s just a matter of time before the baby comes and I’m ready to meet them.”

(Name) winced and clutched her stomach. “Good to hear, because I think I just my water just broke.”

“Go- Wait WHAT?!” Yogi looked at her frantically and started to help her sit up. “The baby is coming now?! As in right now?!”

“Y-Yes…” (Name) grit her teeth as waves of pain hit her one after the other. “Calm down and call Akari to help.”

Yogi yelped and helped her lie down on the couch. “Can’t we call someone else?”

“Akari is the most capable of handling this, Yogi. Please hurry.”

Yogi took a deep breath and tried to keep his anxiety at bay for (Name)’s sake. “Okay I’ll be right back, just hold on.” Yogi rushed out of the room and down the hallway of the ship to find Akari as fast as he could possibly could, until he ended up colliding with him at the end of the hallway.

Akari was taken aback by Yogi suddenly bumping into him and leaned against the wall with his arm to keep himself from stumbling over. “Well I didn’t think you’d be the one bumping into me any time soon,” he said and straightened out his coat. “You know that you’re long overdue for a checkup.”

Yogi gulped but shook his head and stood firmly. “Forget about my checkups right now, it’s an emergency! (Name)’s gone into labor! Come help her!”

“Alright alright, just calm down Yogi,” Akari said. “Panicking will only make things worse. Is she in your room?”

“Yes, I got her to lie down but she needs you to handle the delivery.”

Akari let out a deep breath. “Okay, I’ll set your checkups aside for now. Just follow my instructions and keep (Name) calm so we can have a smooth delivery for your baby.”

“Got it!” Yogi turned around and rushed back to his room with Akari right behind him and started helping prepare for the baby’s delivery.

~One month later~

Yogi stopped in the middle of cleaning the hallway as he peeked his head through the door to his room to catch a glimpse of (Name) cradling their child and humming softly to soothe their baby to sleep. She rocked back and forth slowly in her rocking chair as the baby started drifting to sleep in her arms. Yogi grinned from ear to ear and watched (Name) with fondness as she handled their child with the utmost care and affection.

Yogi watched them until (Name) raised her head and met his eyes. “Why are you just standing in the doorway? You can join us, you know.”

Yogi’s eyes lit up with excitement as he entered the room and pulled up a chair next to her. (Name) couldn’t help but smile at him and his usual enthusiasm. “I still love that smile of yours, you know.”

“Yours is prettier,” Yogi said and draped an arm around her back, resting his head on her shoulder to look at their baby. “It’s amazing to know we brought this baby into the world together... I’m still as overjoyed as I was on the first day.”

(Name) kissed his head and cradled the baby close to her. “I told you you’d be an amazing father. You’re doting on the baby more than anyone else and every time you see the baby you always have that goofy smile on your face that makes us all laugh.”

Yogi hugged her close. “I’ll keep this smile on my face forever now that we’re part of a family, and as long as your promise to keep yours on your face too.”

“Of course I will.” (Name) smiled in the soft and affectionate manner that never failed to make Yogi’s heart flutter with joy. “You two give me a reason to keep this smile. I really couldn’t imagine my life without the both of you anymore.”

Yogi let out a soft and pleasant sigh and planted a soft kiss on her cheek. “I love you, (Name). I love you and our child more than anything in the world.”

“You two are my whole world,” (Name) replied and smiled up at him. “I love you too, Yogi.” (Name) yawned softly and rose from her chair. “I think it’s time to put the baby in the crib so we can get some sleep.”

“Good idea. I know you have to be exhausted.” Yogi got up with her and helped her lower the baby into the crib for the night. “Sleep well, little one.” Yogi flipped the light switch on the wall to ‘off’ and slipped into his bed next to (Name), who rested up against him and rested her head under his chin. “Comfortable?”

“Mhm..” (Name) mumbled and hugged him close. “Good night, Yogi,” she breathed out before drifting off to sleep.

“Good night, (Name).” Yogi draped the blankets over the both of them and wrapped his arms around her protectively, taking in her warmth of her body as he started to fall asleep as well.
Look who's back from the dead after months of no submissions after throwing myself into binge watching and college hell

So I'm finally on Christmas break after a full semester of college that went better than I expected, but it kept me really busy so I didn't really have time to work on anything. But now that I'm on break, I want to make at least two or three more submissions so my page won't be a barren wasteland anymore. Thanks to everyone who followed me over the past month despite me not submitting anything, and to those who still read and favorite my stories. You guys are awesome >w<

I do not own you or Karneval.
